The movement from “I wish” to “I will” is an exchange of two letters; it is more simple to write this phrase than to fulfill it.
The phrase “I wish” does not do anything- this desire without action falls into a trap of monotonous nothingness. A seemingly harmless trap where days are spent on trivial things instead of working on fulfilling your wishes and fueling creativity.
When you fall into this trap, you don’t notice how the Earth has already made its cycle around the sun until it is too late. Every excuse, complaint, and regret in the book don’t even make a difference because your missed opportunities, chances, and resolutions made in younger days are still left unfulfilled. There is no checkmark or line striking through what you wanted to do. Somewhere in between living vicariously through different mediums, you forgot to live for yourself.
But it’s never to late to begin again. Start the cycle of change with the new year- 365 days where you can build, create, and shape yourself into a person that you would be proud of a year from now.
It’s time for action, and you will succeed.
